About us.
Experienced . Approachable . Passionate .
Our team has been delivering Operations, People Management and Safety since we first got together over 20 years ago. Working alongside the Production Managers, Creative Designers and Account Managers at our sister agencies The Fair & We Are Placemaking to support the operational and safety planning of their incredible events.
This year we realised it was time to put ourselves out there. Time to take all the knowledge we’ve learned from working so closely with our creative colleagues and offer something standalone.
Whatever you’re planning and however ambitious it may be, we believe in saying yes and making it happen... safely. We thrive on the challenges that big ideas present and strive to balance safety with creativity, and compliance with fun.

Testimonials
“Having worked with The Fair previously in securing a Premises Licence and producing ourStories In The Park show, it made perfect sense to bring them on board to help manage theHealth and Safety and Covid-19 Safety aspects of our series of Drive In Cinema Club events.TheOPS team produced all the necessary safety paperwork, liaised with our suppliers and worked with our teams on site to make sure all of the relevant measures were in place”.
Toby Mullins, Director at Conc3pt London
The Drive In Cinema Club
“The safety of our customers is our number one priority and we were delighted to welcome OPS on board as part of our team this year. It was a real pleasure to work with Nick and Rob securing the festival and their approach was fantastic throughout. It’s great to work with people who are prepared to work with production to ensure the safety of a site rather than simply point out any issues. We look forward to building a long lasting partnership with the Fair.”
Craig Mathie, Events Director at Bournemouth 7s
“We have always been impressed with the support and professionalism received from The Fair on our live events programme. As such we were keen to work with their O.P.S. team in implementing Covid health & safety arrangements for the reopening of Cambridge City Centre when October 2020 lockdown restrictions eased. Their team worked closely with multiple stakeholders including; Cambridge City Council, PHE, Environmental Health, The Police and Stagecoach. They understood the urgency of the project and balanced the needs of stakeholders and the community. They provided a robust Risk Assessment that was approved by all stakeholders and ensured we were able to reopen confidently without any concerns. Following this we asked the team to provide further Covid safety services to facilitate the safe reopening of the Market Square for essential traders in January 2021. We look forward to working with O.P.S again in the future!”
Frances Alderton, Cambridge City Council
